Hair Loss

Quality of hair is the reflection of general health of an individual. Typically we lose 50-100 hairs everyday but it’s not noticeable as new hair grows at the same time. Baldness occurs when the new hair doesn’t replace the lost ones and there is excessive loss of hair. Hair fall may be sudden or gradual depending on the cause and may just affect only the scalp or whole body. In a few cases it is permanent whereas in some it is temporary. Although being a pain free condition, patients experience lot of anxiety and emotional distress because of it.

Sinusitis

Hair loss is not just a cosmetic issue which concerns skin and hair, in most cases loss of hair is due to an internal disturbance. The most common cause of hair loss is hereditary which happens with age. Other causes include hormonal changes, medical condition, medications and radiations, undernourishment, stress (emotional and physical) and cosmetic chemical treatment of hair. There is no improvement in the hair fall without treatment of the internal disturbance. Most of the hair treatments are external, hence usually ineffective in making a permanent cure and unaffordable to masses.
